I know you have heard the saying, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression". The foyer or entry into your home is that first impression. You can set the entire mood or feeling by creating a warm and inviting space when you first open the door. No matter how big or small that space is in your home you can create the perfect look that represents you and your family. Here are a few ideas that may inspire you......

One of my favorite things in a kitchen is a cozy banquette to sit and enjoy a wonderful meal with friends and family. It really is the best seating to encourage conversation after a meal, and is the seat of choice with the children at our house...including the dog! Just last night we were able to sit down, all at once, as a family for dinner which does not happen as often as we would like. The children were so comfortable and content long after dessert. We were able to have a great conversation with them, which believe me with teenagers can be difficult to do! Here are a few you may like........

Although it is only the first weeks of February we are already planning our Easter break and summer vacations. One thing that gets you in the mood for warm weather is a wonderful pool....there really is nothing like jumping in the pool on a hot summer day. Here in south Louisiana a pool in the backyard is almost a must and can sometimes even be used over Thanksgiving holiday!
Here are a few pools I have seen that you may like too...... Enjoy!
